Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage™ Now Available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam
With a New Single-Player Mode, Cross-Play, and Rollback Support, the Beatdown Has Evolved
IRVINE, Calif. – October 30, 2025 – Today, SEGA® launched Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage digitally for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, featuring support for cross-play and rollback netcode, an improved training mode, and the brand-new single player World Stage mode where players will challenge powerful rivals on a solo quest to become the ultimate fighter! The game is also currently in development for Nintendo Switch 2.
Those who purchase the 30th Anniversary Edition (£39.99) will unlock the following:
- Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage base game
- Legendary Pack
- Yakuza Series Collaboration Pack
- Virtua Fighter 30th Anniversary Swimsuit Costume Set, Soundtrack Collection, and Ranking Titles
- Virtua Fighter Pre-Production Artwork
A standard edition is available to digitally order for £15.99. The Legendary Pack and Yakuza Series Collaboration Pack are also available for individual purchase.
In addition, for the first time since Final Showdown, the enigmatic Virtua Fighter™ series antagonist Dural is now available as a playable character! This paid DLC can be purchased starting today for £6.49.
Current owners of the Steam version of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. will automatically be upgraded to Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage at no added cost, with no impact on any purchased content. Those who own the PlayStation 4 version of Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown™ – either through a previous purchase on PSN or as a redemption via PlayStation Plus – will be able to purchase the PlayStation 5 version of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage at a discount for either £7.99 for the base version, or £32.99 for the 30th Anniversary Edition.
